The JRU Elementary School Library (ESL) is established primarily to expose the children to good books and encourage them to broaden their reading interests and fascinates their imagination.  The ES library is located at Room 20 - 22 of building B and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  To be able to use its materials, space and services, each grade level has an individual library period during their free time.

The ESL functions as a vital instrument for quality education by enriching all points of the educational process and provides materials that will promote as well as enrich classroom procedures and the educational experiences of the children. Books still make up the bulk of its collection consisting of about 10,000 volumes of print and  non-print materials.  

A Multimedia room is also found inside the library.  This serves as the viewing room of pupils.  Two (2) computer units for Internet accessibility are likewise available.
