The archives took approximately nine months to finish and the project was spearheaded by Dr. Sally Arlante, Chief Librarian of the UP Library System aided in large part by a grant thru the JICA Technocracy project. The archives are expected to be open to the public on January 1, 2011, after the Fabella family has done a final check on it.
Throughout his life, Dr. Fabella believed in the importance of access to information as a core part of education. UP and JRU hope that with the release of these archives, the public will share in his passion.
