JRU HS offers a five-year evening high school course for students who under certain circumstances cannot attend the day classes. The program is offered as an option to widen opportunities for people to receive a HS diploma, a minimum requirement for employment in some cases, and for entry into college.
Evening high school students are normally required to take the Physical Education, Health and Music, but may be waived for working students. All graduating HS students, including those attending the night HS, are required to take the Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT).
