Curriculum development for HS takes cognizance of the students’ preparation for future careers. The HS takes care that students develop the skill set, mindset, and values to help them take on courses in colleges and universities as a first step to their career-planning.

The JRU offers a four-year HS curriculum for day students that is compliant with the standards of the Department of Education (DepEd) but is also modified to suit global educational policies and priorities of JRU High School. An increase in number of contact hours was implemented to exceed what’s required in the implementation of the Basic Education Curriculum and to make the curriculum more inclusive in inculcating knowledge, skills, and attitudes to help students cope in an ever-changing Philippine society.
