Elementary School Clubs
Science and Math Club
Open for intermediate grade students, the Science and Math club sponsors the “Battle of the Young Rizalians”, a quiz-bee type competition for Grades IV, V, and VI students who excel in Science, Mathematics, and Civics and Culture. The organization hosts other activities which focus on the physical environment, the changes in them, and the student discoveries as a result.
English Club and Filipino Club
Students get additional boost to their communication skills development through group dynamics, discussions, and other engagement to encourage students to use either Filipino or English, or both languages. Both hold contests such as declamation, spelling, story telling, essay writing and comprehension skills.
Social Builders Club
Love of country and concern for fellow Filipinos are encouraged as part of the early childhood development, wherein students learn by sharing. Good citizenship training starts in the elementary level. Through this organization, pupils become aware of the need for socialization. The club co-sponsors the "Battle of the Young Rizalians".
Young Rizalians Artists Club
Pupils with special talents in the arts such as acting, drawing, or painting are exposed to various opportunities for training, activities, and competition in and out of campus. Members of this club interact among fellow artists and encourage further honing of their creative side. They are also encouraged to join other club activities to create an integrated exercise of pupils' potentials.
Blue and Gold Pipers and Choir
Musically-inclined pupils have two venues by which to exercise their talents--
(1) Blue & Gold Pipers - the group of young bamboo flutists, and (2) Blue & Gold Choir - the group of young boys and girls representing the JRU ES chorale. The clubs seek to promote self-realization, raise cultural awareness, and develop interpersonal relationship among its members through sharing of music. The groups perform in concerts and in different programs and activities in the entire school community.
Young Pupils Catholic Action
Pupils are encouraged to build a community based on the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. In this club, Christian values are learned, lived and shared among themselves and with other people outside campus, thus helping them prepare for their future tasks as Christian leaders.
School-sponsored activities
