The JRU-Graduate School, an active member of the Philippine Association of Graduate Education (PAGE), was selected to host the 4th Graduate Student Congress in August 30, 2008.

To be participated by graduate students from all PAGE member academic institutions in the National Capital Region (NCR), the Congress will be a gathering of graduate students from these institutions’ graduate programs in Business Administration, Public Administration, Education and/or their related graduate degree programs. This will be a venue to showcase outstanding research outputs of these students in these fields. From these sharing of research interests and outputs, it is expected that these will eventually lead to collaborative research activities and projects between and among them. Ultimately, the congress will significantly develop and expand the graduate student research competencies in these PAGE member institutions through linkages and/or collaborations between and among them.

As host, the JRU-Graduate School through MBA, MPA and MAEd Degree Programs, will take the lead in organizing this PAGE-NCR sponsored congress, particularly in the selection of researches to be presented. Dr. Armand V. Fabella, Former Education Secretary and Chairman of the JRU Board of Trustees will be one of the main guest speakers along with a high ranking official of the Commission on Higher Education.

Dr. Elizabeth P. Rodriguez, JRU-Graduate School Dean and PAGE-NCR Board Member, already formed internal committees to make the necessary preparations for this major event among graduate students. JRU is both proud to host this event and showcase researches from its highly accredited and recognized MBA, MPA and MAEd Programs.
